About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support to children and young people with complex needs, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Care Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with children, young people, and their families to ensure their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and mentor care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to a high standard, and that the home is run efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a residential children's home, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures, experience with budgets and rotas, and a full driving licence.
