Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning mechanical extract systems and smoke ventilation systems. They will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring timely completion, and providing quotations for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of mechanical extract systems and smoke ventilation systems
- Project management to ensure timely completion
- Quotation provision for clients
- Wire, fix, and commission mechanical extract systems
- Wire, fix, and commission a wide range of smoke ventilation products
- Manage large or small installations
- Ensure team members are working to correct design and standards
- Communicate with other trades to ensure smooth project completion
Requirements:
- NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
- At least 5 years' experience in commissioning extract or smoke ventilation systems
- SSSTS or higher
- JIB/ECS card Holder
- Span set, PASMA, IPAF
- Working knowledge of ADB; BS EN 12101; BS 9999; BS 9991 & BS 7346 pt 8
- Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers equipment e.g Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls
- Current full clean driving licence
