Sea Global is excited to collaborate with a remarkable, international organization in the retail sector. With a presence in over 35 countries, their procurement division is centralized in London. Due to recent substantial growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Category Manager, specializing in Marketing and Media Services.
This role reports directly to the Head of Category, who seeks a proactive individual ready to contribute effectively from the outset. Below are further details regarding the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Category to assess and identify business requirements.
- Oversee comprehensive strategic sourcing initiatives, including vendor management.
- Develop and execute category strategies, alongside delivering sub-category plans.
- Manage supplier relationships, focusing on Contract Management, Risk, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across various suppliers and internal clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in Marketing procurement is essential for this role; candidates with exposure to significant marketing projects may also be considered.
- International project experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- End-to-end procurement experience and the ability to work independently are highly valued.
- CIPS certification and/or a degree in a relevant field is beneficial but not a strict requirement.
