About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Greenstaff Medical. As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients in their own homes, providing emotional support, practical assistance, and administering medication as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support to individuals and their families, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with personal care, household tasks, and transportation to appointments.
  • Monitor and support clients' healthcare needs, including administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless care delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • DBS Check on the Update Service (one can be applied for upon application if you do not have one).
  • Proof of Mandatory Training (If none, free training will be provided as part of the compliance process).
  • 2 x References.
  • A minimum of 3 - 6 months' experience of being a Community Healthcare Assistant in Homecare or Community settings.
Desirable Skills
  • Care and Management of Enteral Feeding experience.
  • Spinal Injury experience.
  • Tracheostomy Care experience.
  • Stoma Care experience.
  • Epilepsy and Management of Emergency Medication Protocols.
  • Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilation experience, including Airway Management.
  • Acquired Brain Injuries experience.
  • End-of-life Care experience.
