Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at ESS. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the kitchen and staff in the absence of the Head Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for ensuring all kitchen staff are preparing and presenting quality food and all final products leaving the kitchen meet the Company Standard.
- To ensure all kitchen staff are adhering to health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.
- To manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are available to meet the demands of the kitchen.
- To work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
- To provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- £15.90 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days over 7
