About the Role:
This position provides critical support to the Head of Finance and Foodservice & Export team, focusing on key areas such as financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as financial analysis and month-end reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the completion of the monthly financial forecast/budgeting cycle, ensuring accurate recording of the Sales Plan in the financial system, with a focus on mix, pricing/COGS, and deals.
- Conduct month-end analysis and reporting, ensuring reliability and completeness of data in the GL and data warehouse.
- Run preliminary analysis to identify key variances to the Sales plan, including volume/mix/price/deals, and analyze Marketing and Fixed Selling costs.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate accruals, and prepare month-end journals as required.
- Support the development of presentations for the wider business.
- Perform other ad hoc requests/analysis/financial calculations, including new business wins and range extensions, new product development, and marketing activities.
- Drive process improvements and resource optimization.
- Adhere to Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs, and goals.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or Accounting.
- 2-3 years of work experience that complements financial training.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel (macros, indexmatch, vlookup) and Access.
- Efficient in working with large datasets, identifying issues, fixing, transforming, uploading, and presenting.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
