Educational Support Specialist

At Targeted Provision, we are continuously seeking dedicated and skilled educators to assist in uplifting the educational experiences of the UK's most at-risk children and adolescents.
Key ResponsibilitiesWe invite passionate individuals who are committed to making a significant impact on the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners.
Our goal is to enhance the quality of educational assistance provided to young individuals facing challenges. You will be supported by our team of SEND Support Specialists throughout your engagements.
This role offers a distinctive chance to leverage your prior experience in supporting learners with additional educational needs, including those with SEND, care-experienced backgrounds, and SEMH requirements, to effect meaningful change.
We seek educators who are enthusiastic about working with children and young people with diverse learning needs in a creative, adaptable, and trauma-informed approach to boost their engagement and significantly improve their educational journeys.
Qualifications- Valid Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Experience with young individuals with Additional Educational Needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding protocols
- Enhanced DBS (assistance in obtaining this can be provided)
- Two professional references
It is essential that you demonstrate the ability to work in a manner that prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Employment Structure:
- This role involves engaging with us as a Worker, providing short-term services as opportunities arise.
- You will operate under a contract for service and receive payment via PAYE.
- No guaranteed work hours or expense reimbursements are provided.
- Our insurance covers the work performed on our behalf.
- The hourly compensation for this position ranges from £25 to £30 (inclusive of a base rate and holiday pay).
- Our Support Team is readily available to offer guidance and assistance on any matters concerning the education and welfare of our Young People.
- We provide a streamlined reporting system to help you meet your progress tracking and reporting obligations.
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and internal training are available to ensure you are well-equipped to deliver high-quality support.
- We encourage every active tutor to join our tutor community, where best practices, resources, and tips are shared.
- We organize termly events to facilitate networking among tutors in your region and beyond.
