Job Title: Clinical Deputy Manager - Adults

St David's Nursing Home, located in Ealing, is a welcoming and quality-driven care facility. We offer a range of services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation, and respite care for individuals over 18.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a caring and professional ethos, with a good clinical background and current NMC pin.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day care of residents, delegating roles to nursing and care staff as appropriate.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Registered Nurses, ensuring they obtain and sustain clinical competencies to meet resident needs.
  • Act as a Shift Team Leader, providing overall supervision and development for care staff.
  • Contribute to the training of care staff and other staff, acting as a role model at all times.
  • Participate in personal and professional development opportunities, attending necessary mandatory training.
  • Ensure Gold Care standards and support systems are effectively operated, leading to positive outcomes for service users.
  • Assist the Home Manager with formal supervision/appraisal of staff members, ensuring consistently high standards.
  • Implement and adhere to Gold Care's policies and procedures, legal requirements, and relevant codes of practice.
  • Assist with effective recruitment, performance management, and deployment of staff to deliver high-quality care and support outcomes.
  • Liaise with maintenance contractors and others involved in property maintenance.
  • Promote the service and Gold Care through effective communication with stakeholders, including service users, staff, relatives, and medical professionals.
  • Promote the home professionally and effectively in the community, maintaining private bed occupancy and supporting corporate marketing.
  • Ensure all staff focus on excellent customer care to enhance service user lives and Gold Care's reputation.
