Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading UK FMCG company in Leicester. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on new and existing equipment, conducting preventative and planned maintenance, and working on high-speed FMCG machinery.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities- Collaborate with a team to perform maintenance tasks and ensure equipment is running efficiently.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
- Work on complex machinery and equipment, using your problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- Support process improvements and implement TPM and 5S practices to enhance engineering and manufacturing efficiency.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree or NVQ, in a relevant field.
- Previous experience as a maintenance engineer, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
