About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valuations Director to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Advisory team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of engagements and delivering high-quality valuations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of engagements and deliver valuations to clients
  • Support Partners with project work and build excellent relationships with clients
  • Initiate and deliver marketing and business development projects
  • Work with senior members of the London Valuation Team to develop the business
  • Deliver reports and be involved in valuation analyses for various purposes
Requirements
  • Significant valuation experience gained ideally within professional services
  • Proficiency in a number of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, intangible asset valuation
  • Adept ability to interpret financial statements in the context of valuations
  • Proven people leadership skills and commitment to developing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset
  • Strong business writing, analytical and Excel modelling skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionally qualified accountancy or other financial discipline (e.g. ACA or CFA)
