Job Description

Trinity House Group is seeking a highly skilled ESG Reporting and Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing on our ESG disclosure enhancement plan and data management, aligned with global regulatory reporting requirements.

This role will involve building strong relationships with global and cross-functional teams to ensure that governance, strategies, policies, processes, controls, and disclosures meet emerging compliance requirements and align with voluntary and regulatory reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Prepare ESG Disclosure Reports: Assist in the development and preparation of ESG disclosure reports, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • ESG Accounting and Reporting Policies: Assist with the development of ESG accounting and reporting policies to be used by relevant stakeholders, ensuring that they are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Implement Required Changes: Implement required changes to accounting and reporting policies, practices, and processes to ensure compliance with emerging regulations and standards.
  • Global ESG Reporting: Be responsible for global ESG reporting matters, ensuring that reporting is aligned to the requirements of various regulations, including the SEC and CSRD, and monitoring associated trends.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Partner cross-functionally with various stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives related to ESG at the company, ensuring alignment between disclosures and corporate strategy and initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze data needed for ESG reporting, including consolidated data, and verify reported information, summarize content, and distribute relevant reports.
  • Governance and Control Framework: Assist in establishing a governance and control framework that complies with relevant ESG reporting standards and regulations, ensuring reporting integrity and assurance and compliance with external assurance expectations.
  • ESG Internal Control Program: Assist in implementing and maintaining an ESG internal control program, including understanding and mapping of processes, input assessment, data capture, identifying risks and controls, evaluating processes for control readiness, executing required changes, and communicating controls framework requirements and control best-practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical, written, communication, and program management skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to navigate uncertainty, work in a fast-paced environment, and complete deliverables within established deadlines.
  • Financial or Sustainability Certifications: Financial (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or sustainability certifications (CPA, CFA, CSP, GRI, SASB).

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £60,000.
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Hybrid work arrangement, with 1-2 days on-site.
