Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to contribute to improving the quality of education provided by maintained schools and academies in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight for children and young people with SEN.
You will provide psychological advice and support to communities, schools, parents, children, and young people, and contribute to multi-agency support for children and young people.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a consultant on psychological matters with parents, carers, teachers, and other professionals working with children and young people.
- Working with staff in Education and Inclusion branch to contribute to school effectiveness.
- Preparing and maintaining written records.
- Providing statutory advice to Local Authorities in accordance with the SEN Code of Practice.
- Attending SEN and disability tribunals as required by the Local Authority.
Requirements include:
- 3 years of experience to practice as a contractor.
- A PhD/Doctorate or Master's in Educational Psychology or equivalent.
- Ability to provide two anonymous reports with CV submission.
- Commitment to work until March 2025.
