Community Housing is embarking on innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery to our clients.
We are in search of a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all facets of our project portfolio. This role presents an excellent opportunity to manage a variety of significant projects, ensuring objectives are met efficiently and within budget.
By bringing specialized knowledge and expertise to the table, you will ensure that projects are thoughtfully designed, adequately resourced, and executed collaboratively, while also challenging conventional business practices. As a strong team player, you will collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project milestones.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring projects are initiated and executed in accordance with Community Housing's change management processes and utilizing established governance documentation. Delivering essential project status updates aligned with agreed reporting cycles.
- Overseeing the comprehensive delivery cycle for projects, from initial ideation and discovery phases through to resource allocation, planning, execution, and transition to operational delivery.
- Identifying and managing essential project resources, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and that the necessary skills for executing the change are secured.
- Collaborating with project sponsors to articulate clear business cases, supported by sound financial and business impact analysis, in line with our project framework.
- Proactively identifying, assessing, and managing project risks in accordance with Community Housing's project management framework, ensuring proper escalation and ownership of risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing project budgets in alignment with our delivery framework, ensuring that project costs remain controlled and that escalation processes for financial risks are adhered to.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in project management related to business transformation, process re-engineering, and business modeling.
- A recognized project management qualification (e.g., Prince 2, Agile, PMP).
- A proven track record of collaborating with teams and managing projects by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments, including matrix management.
- Experience in supporting, managing, and effectively embedding change.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to professionally challenge, coordinate, collaborate, and drive aspirational needs across Community Housing.
