About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Help Support Worker to join our team in Balsall Heath. This is a fixed-term position until March 2027, working 22 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with experience in working with families and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver light-touch work with families for 4-6 weeks, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and improving family wellbeing.
  • Work closely with a multi-agency team of family support officers, community, voluntary, and statutory services to provide comprehensive support to families.
  • Conduct home visits and travel independently across the contract operating area to meet with professionals and families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, professionals, and community partners to ensure effective collaboration and support.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of processes to add value, simplify operations, and support good relationships.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience in safeguarding and multi-agency working.
  • Ability to travel independently and work flexibly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations and conflict effectively.
