This exceptional care home is a purpose-built unit for residents with dementia, situated in a converted Victorian country house with accommodation.

To be considered for this position, you must have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and previous experience as a Deputy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager and manage the day-to-day running of the home in their absence.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee all aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC requirements.
  • Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support, promoting growth and independence.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
Benefits and Salary:

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 per annum. This permanent full-time role involves working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive:
