About the Role

Crowther & Shaw Limited, a reputable business based in Huddersfield, is seeking an experienced refrigeration/air conditioning engineer to join their busy service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the industry and be enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of equipment, including cabinet refrigeration, pack systems, split system air conditioning, VRV, and air handling units.
  • Work on established contracts with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Contribute to the development of the service team by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in refrigeration/air conditioning engineering.
  • Current refrigerant handling qualification and usual trade qualifications.
  • UK driving licence and a clean DBS check (or willingness to obtain one within 1 month).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions
  • 8-hour shifts, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
