Job Summary

The Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a highly skilled Data Team Manager to lead a team responsible for data analysis and strategy in the Payments and Digital Assets Directorate. As a key member of the Cross-cutting Market Analysis and Strategy department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the future of digital assets and payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of data analysts and manage projects to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to inform the FCA's strategy for digital assets and payments.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of data strategies to support the FCA's goals and objectives.
  • Design and deliver data visualizations and presentations to communicate complex data insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide data support.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple work streams and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading data analysis and strategy projects in a financial services or related industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing deadlines.
  • Security Clearance (SC) level vetting is required for this role.
