Warehouse Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse/Workshop Assistant to join our dynamic team at ACS Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the workshop function, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking, packing, and booking in deliveries, while verifying the accuracy of items received
- Updating and maintaining database information to ensure seamless inventory management
- Booking deliveries onto courier systems to optimize logistics
- Inspecting returned equipment for damages to ensure quality control
- Regularly auditing stock and shelves to maintain a well-organized warehouse environment
- Keeping the warehouse and workshop areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment
- Assisting with stock takes and other tasks as needed to support the team
- Opportunity to develop skills and move to workshop roles based on interest and experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse/workshop environment is preferred, but not required
- A valid driving license (category B minimum) is essential for the role
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management is required
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills at all levels to collaborate with the team
- Excellent people skills with a customer-focused mindset to provide exceptional service
- A proactive team player who can also work independently to achieve goals
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and adapt to changing situations
- Flexibility in working hours to meet business needs and support the team
