About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide expert advice and support to managers across our facilities, ensuring that our employees are equipped to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with managers to provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with HCA's policies and procedures.
  2. Support and review sickness, absence management, conduct, and behavior, capability, clinical competence concerns, and coach on performance management.
  3. Manage your own diary, appointments, case load notes, and transactional day-to-day administration, including letter writing, employment references, exit interviews, data, and reporting.
  4. Support Line Manager to be self-serving, writing guidance notes and training methods, delivering Line Manager training workshops, or 1-1 coaching.
  5. Lead on local induction for new employees, focused on engagement and creating an environment of belonging.
  6. Promote HCA's values, commitment to equal opportunities, and diversity within the organization, including creating and presenting presentations.
  7. Promote wellbeing initiatives, wellness services, staff benefits, engagement days, celebrating staffing group days, long service awards, employee of the quarter, and other staff praise and recognition programs.
  8. Champion the group employee engagement survey, working proactively with each department to ensure a program of activity is in place to address opportunities identified from the survey results.
  9. Work with the wider HCA teams, such as Legal, Payroll, The Learning Academy, and HR Compliance teams, to resolve any employee queries.

Requirements:

  1. HR Generalist experience and expertise, operating at a Human Resource Business Partner Level, ideally within a large organization, with multiple sites.
  2. A proven track record, advising all staffing levels, up to including board level, driving people management aligned to business objectives, values, colleague engagement, and performance results.
  3. Demonstrable experience of supporting HR projects, business partnering senior teams in a fast-paced environment, including analyzing HR Metrics.
  4. Experience of managing own caseloads, advising and coaching senior managers on a range of ER issues, including sickness management, absence management, conduct, behavior, capability, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
