About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's dynamic finance team in a temporary capacity. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to manage the accounts payable processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify a high volume of invoices (200 a day) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Payment Management: Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records with precision and accuracy.
- Communication: Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role, preferably in a similar industry.
