Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing daily project operations, ensuring compliance with client specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Managing financial aspects and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and quality across all operations.
  • Leading and mentoring field supervisors and project teams.
  • Conducting thorough investigations of incidents and quality issues, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Identifying potential risks to project budgets and timelines in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Supervising staff assignments and work schedules to optimize project efficiency.
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets performance metrics and contractual obligations.
  • Regularly auditing team performance and service quality to uphold excellence.
  • Providing timely and detailed reports on project status, challenges, and solutions to management.
  • Reviewing client designs and participating in site assessments.
  • Assuming overall responsibility for project methodologies and timelines.
  • Adhering to safety and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Upholding a professional image of the department by following company policies and standards.
  • Addressing nonconformance issues promptly to ensure resolution.
  • Working responsibly within the company's operational guidelines to ensure safety for all stakeholders.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience with NEC 34 contracts.
  • Background in healthcare project management from a mechanical perspective.
  • Recognized qualifications in Building Services Engineering.
  • Proven track record in program management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to project installations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong numerical abilities and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in work approach.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check due to client site access requirements.
  • A valid UK driving license with a clean record.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Mechanical engineering degree.
  • Building Services qualification (HNC preferred).
  • APM certification.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications.
  • Legionella Awareness training.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
