**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Adore Recruitment Ltd. As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering function, ensuring the efficient operation of the production facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Reduce maintenance costs by 10-20%
- Reduce external maintenance costs by 20%
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize reactive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with Good Engineering Practice (GEP) and Safety First approach in all maintenance activities
- Develop and manage risk assessments for the site plant and fabrication maintenance
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects, internal and 3rd party non-conformities, or customer complaints relevant to machinery and equipment
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and maintained in cooperation with the H&S advisor
- Implement and adhere to the Plant Preventive Maintenance schedule and perform required checks and maintenance
- Identify risks and opportunities for plant equipment and fabrics and highlight them to the Senior Management Team
- Work closely with the Technical Manager daily and attend regular meetings as required
- Attend weekly management meetings with different line managers across the organization and assist with day-to-day business activities
- Assist the team in implementing BRCGS accreditation
- Implement measuring equipment calibration, utilities, equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Develop, maintain, and implement equipment manuals and enhance SOPs accordingly
- Develop and maintain machinery and equipment parts requirements
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, systems, and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
- Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
