Rayment Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to fill the role of Porter and Maintenance Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff to set up rooms and move furniture, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Ensure guest safety by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or paint, and performing daily checks on equipment and facilities.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, painting, and decorating, to maintain the overall appearance of the building.
- Conduct daily checks on gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, and bins to prevent any potential issues.
- Clean and maintain hot tubs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and moving of furniture.
- Ability to work a rotated weekend schedule, ensuring adequate coverage for our facilities.
- Reliability and professionalism in maintaining daily checks and tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.
