Job Title: Senior Packaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Technologist to join our R&D function and specialize in delivering Packaging Innovation activity.

This role will be responsible for delivering the feasibility assessment, risk management, planning, and implementation of Innovation projects from design concept through to product launch, ensuring compliance with our sustainability commitments and legal obligations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in packaging, science, or engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in a packaging team within a FMCG business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing functional expertise to projects in our Stage & Gate process.
  • Developing technical solutions that deliver against opportunities identified through our Innovation Strategy.
  • Sitting on and contributing to business forums that drive the integrated agenda for innovation and growth.
  • Owning the specifications for new packaging materials and their application in finished products.
  • Being commercially aware and identifying commercially feasible solutions that deliver on the brief.
