About the RoleChurchill Estates Management is seeking a dedicated and exceptional Lodge Supervisor for our retirement community. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and possess a strong background in administration and customer service. As a Lodge Supervisor, you will coordinate various activities within the development, positively impacting the lives of our residents and ensuring a seamless retirement living experience.
In this position, you will report to the Area Manager and will be responsible for overseeing property maintenance while delivering top-notch service to residents. This autonomous role positions you as the primary contact on-site, acting as a friendly neighbor and trusted resource for residents. Your responsibilities will include liaising with customers and suppliers, managing contractors, scheduling maintenance, conducting health and safety inspections, and organizing events and activities for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the property.
- Provide first-class service to residents, ensuring their needs are met.
- Coordinate and organize community events and activities.
- Conduct health and safety checks and manage contractor relationships.
- Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for all residents.
This role is best suited for individuals with experience in retirement living, social housing, hospitality, or health and social care sectors. A successful Lodge Supervisor will thrive in a front-of-house role, demonstrating exceptional customer service and strong administrative skills.
Your enthusiasm for providing excellent service is crucial. You should possess a friendly demeanor and a genuine love for interacting with people. Additionally, you will need to exhibit sensitivity and diplomacy while maintaining the efficiency and assertiveness required to ensure the safety and security of the lodge.
While this role involves significant social interaction with residents, you should also be comfortable working independently and using your initiative. Proficiency in administration and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook, will be essential for effectively managing site operations.
