Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Manager with a background in Logistics to join our client's team at VRP Solutions. The position is a full-time, permanent contract based on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
  • Audit payroll and balance accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to payroll and taxes.
  • Provide company secretarial support, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of managing a highly effective payroll, with managerial experience essential.
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Confidence to work directly with partners at all levels, including CEOs and Directors.
  • A good standard of education, including GCSEs or A-Levels.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Adequate understanding of using new technology and digital solutions to streamline payroll processes.
  • A valid driving license, as travel may be required.
