We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Manager with a background in Logistics to join our client's team at VRP Solutions. The position is a full-time, permanent contract based on-site.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
- Audit payroll and balance accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to payroll and taxes.
- Provide company secretarial support, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- A proven track record of managing a highly effective payroll, with managerial experience essential.
- Previous experience in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific challenges and opportunities.
- Confidence to work directly with partners at all levels, including CEOs and Directors.
- A good standard of education, including GCSEs or A-Levels.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Adequate understanding of using new technology and digital solutions to streamline payroll processes.
- A valid driving license, as travel may be required.
- A competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A full-time, permanent contract with a Monday-to-Friday working week.
- A range of benefits, including pension and company insurance.
