The Charalle Group is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our corporate team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and assisting with corporate and company secretarial matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Completing corporate and company secretarial tasks, including company formations, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Managing company secretarial databases and ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Preparing and filing documents with Companies House, including annual returns and accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of company statutory books and records.
- Providing administrative support to our lawyers, including drafting documents and preparing meeting minutes.
- Assisting with the management of company secretarial client matters, including responding to client queries and providing updates on company matters.
- Undertaking post-completion work on corporate matters, including preparing bibles of documents and stamp duty applications.
- Generating new business opportunities and assisting with marketing efforts.
- Attending professional networking events and client functions to promote the firm's services.
- Providing general administrative support to the department, including answering phones and responding to emails.
- Up-to-date knowledge of company law and corporate governance.
- Previous experience in a corporate or company secretarial role (desirable).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and provide a high level of service to clients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of and competency in information technology, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Commitment to technical and personal development.
