Mencap is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Carlton-in-Lindrick, Worksop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities and provide emotional support.
  • Work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with service users and their families.
  • Participate in the preparation of rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans and support plans.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
