SRG is collaborating with a prominent global pharmaceutical organization seeking a QC Analytical and Raw Materials Team Leader to enhance their growing team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver technical guidance and oversee the operations of the QC Analytical team, focusing on the evaluation of quality control samples and supporting validation studies. The leader will maintain an active presence in the laboratory to oversee activities and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily functions of the laboratory team to uphold quality and reliability standards.
- Oversee the application of chemical testing methods (UPLC and Gas Chromatography) and various measuring instruments in line with approved protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments regarding the status of operations and quality testing needs.
- Conduct expert reviews of data, protocols, and reports to ensure compliance with cGMPs and good documentation practices.
- Address any abnormal results and lead investigations to identify root causes.
- Facilitate quality control training and review and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.).
- Extensive experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated sectors.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Experience in direct interactions with regulatory bodies.
- Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) principles.
- Familiarity with FDA and EMA regulations.
