Early Years Leader Job Description

At Ultimate Activity Camps, we're seeking an exceptional Early Years Leader to join our team at Handcross Park School in Haywards Heath. As a key member of our camp team, you'll be responsible for delivering a fun and engaging programme for our 4- and 5-year-old campers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality Early Years programme, adhering to EYFS requirements and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all campers.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sports, arts, and crafts activities, tailored to the needs and abilities of our young campers.
  • Direct and support a team of Early Years staff, promoting a positive and inclusive camp culture.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of our campers, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with the Camp Manager to maintain Ofsted requirements and ensure a smooth camp operation.
Requirements:
  • Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality childcare, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for working with children, with a focus on their development and well-being.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
