About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle / Service Technician to join our team at TN Recruits Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle repair needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology and ensure that all technicians have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Service Documentation: Complete accurate and detailed service documentation, ensuring that all work is properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Health Checks: Carry out regular health checks on vehicles to identify any potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Workshop Standards: Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping, ensuring that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant NVQ, BTEC, or City and Guilds qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of vehicle technology and systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic and energetic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence.
