Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special school in North Birmingham. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs, providing tailored support and creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs, including those with Autism and Complex Needs.
- Work closely with the experienced SENCO and teaching team to deliver high-quality support and interventions.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that children's needs are met.
- Manage behaviors, promote engagement, and support children in accessing the curriculum.
- Record progress, report to the SENCO, and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
