Role Overview
The Technical Security Specialist is tasked with the maintenance and responsive service of Intruder Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control systems for clients in the metropolitan area.

Working Hours and Additional Information:
Our typical working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with an on-call rotation every ninth week (additional compensation for on-call duties). The role may involve working at heights and can be physically demanding. A valid UK driving license is necessary for the company vehicle. Flexibility is required as you will be traveling to various client locations.

Key Requirements
  • Experience with Intruder Alarms
  • Knowledge of Access Control and Door Entry Systems
  • Familiarity with IP & Analogue CCTV systems, including basic networking skills
  • Understanding of Dual Monitoring
  • Awareness of various communication devices
  • Proficiency in Conventional & Wireless Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Familiarity with major brands of panels and app-based systems
  • Fire Alarm knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in maintaining Emergency Lighting
  • Knowledge of NSI codes of practice
  • Awareness of current industry standards

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fire & Security Engineering is required, with proven skills in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarms and security systems. Candidates should have a clean driving license and possess strong technical knowledge along with excellent customer service skills. The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, attention to detail, and a collaborative team spirit are essential for success in this role.
