Test Rig Controls & Data Acquisition Engineer

CV-Library is recruiting for a Test Rig Controls & Data Acquisition Engineer to join our client in Filton on an initial period of 12 months supporting industrial control systems projects.

Position Details:

TEST RIG CONTROLS & DATA ACQUISITION ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £52 PER HOUR - FILTON - 12 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery of technical specialisms in industrial control systems (MOOG Aerospace test software, MTS Aeropro preferable) and/or test data acquisition (HBK, Catman preferable); a healthy mix of hands-on lab and office based work.
  2. Anticipation, identification and management of risks & opportunities.
  3. Support the development of training methodology and material.
  4. Risk assessment, Safe Systems of Work & Health / Safety Compliance.

Skill Set:

Essential:

  1. Educated (or equivalent proven experience) in control systems engineering or a related discipline (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Physics).
  2. +5 years of experience in delivery of projects to time, cost, quality in one of the following disciplines: Instrumentation, control systems, data acquisition, hydraulic control.
  3. MS Office and G Suite proficiency.
  4. English: Negotiation level.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in structures, materials or systems testing would be an advantage.
