Job Title: Commercial and Pricing Analyst

This role focuses on personal lines with potential involvement in commercial lines, supporting the development and enhancement of technical and retail pricing models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead investigation and preparation of data for parameterisation of pricing models
  • Conduct technical analyses, investigations (e.g. inflation), and independent deep dive reviews
  • Support in-depth portfolio analyses and performance management, presenting results to stakeholders
  • Support risk segmentation analysis and recommendation of price change proposals to achieve business targets

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or similar discipline
  • Making progress through the actuarial exams towards Associateship / Fellowship qualifications with the Institute of Actuaries or equivalent professional body
  • Proven pricing experience in personal or commercial lines technical pricing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed mathematical/statistical knowledge
