We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Downend Health Group. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of patient medical records.
Main Responsibilities
- Scanning, attaching, and coding medical records with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Managing and maintaining patient medical data, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborating with the Medical Records Manager to develop and implement efficient systems and procedures for medical records.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Working effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the practice.
Requirements
- Demonstrable commitment to professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good personal organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work across both sites and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical records or a related field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems.
- Experience with EMIS Web and/or Docman software.
