Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, particularly in the onboarding and training of new colleagues.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and create training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Manage and support the development of Training Ambassadors.
  • Engage and develop the team to achieve optimum performance and meet their full potential through performance management.
  • Role model the Company's values and ensure they are followed by the team.
  • Deal with day-to-day queries from colleagues and liaise with HR and Training Teams as required.
  • Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to identify training needs and develop training programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees, utilizing a variety of training methods.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain training records and documentation, including attendance, evaluations, and training completion reports.
  • Provide support and guidance to training ambassadors, promoting a positive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Monitor and review the sign-off process of the safe system of work documents.
  • Ensure that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained.
  • Undertake basic problem-solving activities and escalate to the Training Lead where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
  • Lead or be involved in ad-hoc projects as and when required.
  • Champion key Company strategies and initiatives.
