Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Burford

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team in Burford. As a key member of our academic support team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to teachers and pupils in KS2, focusing on literacy, maths, science, history, and other subjects.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Support students with special educational needs, using your expertise to tailor your approach to meet their individual requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective strategies for student support and progress.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among students.

Requirements:

  • Minimum grade 4/C GCSE in relevant subjects (e.g., maths, English, science).
  • Relevant HTLA qualification (required).
  • Excellent timekeeping skills and ability to adhere to lesson plans.
  • Confident in the KS2 curriculum and able to think on your feet.
  • Driving licence (preferred).

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm, with no weekends. We offer a competitive salary of £83 - £90 per day (experience lead).
