Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Burford

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Burford. As a key member of our KS2 team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of our students.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with our KS2 students. The successful candidate will possess excellent timekeeping skills, be able to adhere to plans, and conduct lessons upon the Class Teacher's request. A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a minimum grade 4/C GCSE in relevant subjects are essential. The ideal candidate will also hold a relevant HTLA qualification and be able to provide high-quality support to our teachers and pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support KS2 students in literacy, maths, science, history, and other subjects
  • Work closely with Class Teachers to plan and deliver lessons
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
Requirements:
  • Minimum grade 4/C GCSE in relevant subjects
  • Relevant HTLA qualification
  • Excellent timekeeping skills and ability to adhere to plans
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:

Full-time, 08:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary:

£83 - £90 per day (experience lead)
