Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at CV Library. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting routine wet chemistry testing of samples, maintaining proficiency in traditional laboratory methods, and ensuring the smooth running of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine wet chemistry testing of samples as required.
  2. Maintain proficiency in traditional laboratory methods and in the use of modern automated analytical equipment.
  3. Assist with the maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  4. Conduct quality control checks on equipment and procedures and maintain records in accordance with accreditation guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. GCSE Level or equivalent in Chemistry.
  2. Previous experience of working within a scientific Technical Support / Laboratory Technician role.
  3. Experience and knowledge of working in wet chemistry.
  4. Good IT skills, including LIMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
