Bid Coordinator Role
We are seeking a skilled Bid Coordinator to join our Bid Team at phs Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing individual tenders and proposals across our organization.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our bids and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on individual bids, working closely with stakeholders to produce high-quality submissions.
- Run kick-off meetings, evaluate specifications, and organize the sign-off and delivery of completed proposals within specified timescales.
- Develop persuasive bid content to meet customer needs.
- Quality assurance of your own work.
- Collaborate with relevant colleagues and managers to generate value-added content.
- Support business improvement projects to enhance the quality of our submissions.
- Contribute to the knowledge library and undertake periodic reviews to ensure all content is up-to-date and applicable.
- Adhere to phs bidding processes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and be flexible.
- Exceptional written, oral, commercial, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and think clearly under pressure.
- Enjoy working as part of a close, busy, and supportive team.
- Prior tender/proposals experience is desirable.
- APMP Foundation status is desirable.
- InDesign experience is desirable.
- Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant bids and proposals in a business environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of proposals and use of tender management tools and techniques is desirable.
