We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Coordinator to join our dynamic Bid Team at phs Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing individual tenders and proposals across our organization.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on individual bids, working closely with stakeholders to produce high-quality submissions that meet customer needs.
- Run kick-off meetings, evaluate specifications, and ensure timely delivery of completed proposals.
- Develop compelling bid content that showcases our expertise and value proposition.
- Collaborate with colleagues and managers to generate value-added content and improve the quality of our submissions.
- Contribute to the knowledge library and undertake periodic reviews to ensure all content is up-to-date and applicable.
- Adhere to phs Group's bidding processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong writing and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional written, oral, commercial, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and think clearly under pressure.
- Experience in tender and proposal management, with a strong understanding of commercial and business processes.
- APMP Foundation status or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in InDesign or similar design software.
