Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for hands-on work? We're seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join our team and make a difference in the packaging and FMCG industries.

About the Role

We're a well-established and profitable company with over 80 years of experience in the packaging equipment industry. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out preventative maintenance through planned service activities
  • Responding to customer callouts for breakdowns
  • Evaluating and resolving problems
  • Assisting with the installation of equipment
  • Offering customer training
  • Repairing, testing, and maintaining equipment and packaging materials
  • Monitoring product performance
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Practical working knowledge of machinery and logical fault-finding skills
  • Experience with servicing packaging machines (full training provided)
  • Self-motivation, reliability, and a pleasant manner
