Key Responsibilities
  • Operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality MDF pieces
  • Following quality monitoring processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards
  • Monitoring waste and non-compliant product and recording occurrences
  • Scanning jobs onto the ERP system in real-time
  • Prioritizing health and safety in all areas of operation
  • Undertaking machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  • Displaying excellent teamwork and cooperation with colleagues
  • Following protocols when operating lasers and accurately ID stamping finished products
  • Participating in periodic stock takes
Requirements
  • Previous laser cutting experience is advantageous
  • Previous production operative experience is essential
  • Previous experience machining wood is advantageous
  • Competent using computer software
  • Full UK driving license
  • ERP/SAP experience
