Main Duties of the Job:
- The post holder will be responsible for supporting inpatient and outpatient cranial and spinal services, working closely with our experienced consultant team.
- The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the on-call regional service for Hull and the Yorkshire & Humber region, providing 24/7 coverage for complex spine and cranial cases.
- The Clinical Fellow will be part of a 1:12 work schedule rota, including allocation of theatres, clinics, MDT attendance, and ward clinical duties.
- The work programme is flexible to meet the needs of both the acute and elective demand, working between Hull Royal Hospitals and Castle Hill Hospital.
- The appointee will be expected to contribute to the established MDT services provided as part of their quality clinical indicators.
- The current on-call commitment is 1:12 full shift rota. During the period of on-call, the post holder will be resident on the premises, with access to on-call rooms and facilities to view PACS imaging.
