We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in providing top talent to various industries, and we are looking for a reliable and professional driver to handle our trunking deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods and materials to various locations using a Class 1 HGV vehicle
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any delivery-related issues
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to driver hours, tachographs, and vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  • Minimum of 1 year's relevant experience as an HGV Class 1 driver
  • Digital tachograph card and driver qualification card
  • Excellent geographical knowledge and navigation skills
  • Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
