Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driving license with the correct categories C/C+E and a professional driving qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with on-site health and safety requirements
* Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
* Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify transport team
Requirements:
* Hold a valid commercial driving license with the correct categories C/C+E
* Have a professional driving qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* Hold a digital tachograph/smart card
* Understand and comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation
* Pass a standard drug and alcohol test
* No more than the maximum of 6 penalty points on the driver's license (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements accepted)
Working Environment:
Berry Recruitment offers a great, inclusive working environment. The successful candidate will be required to work at least every other weekend and will be expected to deliver excellent quality of customer service while representing both the client and Berry Recruitment to a high standard.
Pay Rate:
£19-£27 per hour
