Pertemps Basingstoke is currently looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to support a manufacturing organization. This role is a permanent part-time position, requiring 30 hours of work each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing both purchase and sales ledger activities
- Issuing invoices to customers
- Engaging with clients to ensure prompt payment
- Handling supplier interactions, processing invoices, and overseeing payment schedules
- Conducting reconciliations for accounts and bank statements
- Processing payroll for staff members
- Collaborating with external accounting professionals
- Carrying out various other accounting tasks as needed
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance position
- Understanding of payroll processes
- Competence in using Sage accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Access to personal transportation due to the location
- Availability to start immediately is advantageous
- Part-time schedule, Monday through Friday, totaling 30 hours weekly
- Compensation of £22,000 based on a 30-hour work week
- Office-based role
