The Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist will play a crucial role in safeguarding information assets and mitigating risks associated with the utilization, processing, storage, and transmission of sensitive data, along with the systems and processes that support these activities.

Key Responsibilities:


• Enhance and maintain cybersecurity solutions for organizational systems and products, ensuring compliance with relevant security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.


• Develop, implement, and sustain information assurance programs, requirements, and standards based on comprehensive analysis of user needs, policy mandates, regulatory frameworks, and resource availability.


• Create and revise security documentation, including but not limited to standards, policies, system security plans, contingency strategies, standard operating procedures, and configuration management plans.


• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to information assurance, providing engineering and technical support to address these challenges.


• Detect, report, and address security breaches while proactively identifying potential indicators of compromise.


• Conduct thorough analyses and maintain appropriate artifacts to respond to audits in alignment with regulatory frameworks.


• Ensure that employees and third-party partners comprehend, acknowledge, and adhere to all pertinent information security policies.


• Perform digital forensic analysis, data recovery, eDiscovery, and other IT investigative tasks, collaborating with fraud examiners, legal advisors, human resources, and other IT professionals during investigations.


• Gather and analyze data for management reporting and performance metrics.


• Assess the potential impact of emerging threats and communicate associated risks to relevant business units by monitoring cybersecurity-related resources to stay informed on current attacks and trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or relevant professional certification with 2-4 years of pertinent experience, or a Master's degree with no experience, or 8 years of relevant experience.

2. Highly motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.

3. Creative thinker with the highest ethical standards and values.

4. Exceptional investigative abilities, problem-solving skills, and an innate curiosity.

5. Technical expertise in identifying system security vulnerabilities and remediation strategies for identity, data, and access controls.

6. Understanding of business requirements and a commitment to delivering high-quality, timely, and efficient service.

7. Ability to identify and evaluate the severity and potential impact of risks, effectively communicating with risk owners outside of Information Security to facilitate informed, fact-based decisions that balance risk mitigation with business performance.
