About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at The People's Pension. As a key member of our risk function, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line analysis, challenge and insight of the risk profile and key enterprise risks arising within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Risk Advisory in ensuring adherence to the risk framework, monitoring of associated risk appetites across the group, and the management of the Operational Resilience programme.
  • Lead on the analysis of risk, control, and incident data and in reporting to governance forums, as well as designing and delivering a regular program of thematic work by the risk function.
  • Assist with the delivery of the risk functions business plan, collation of risk management information to monitor KRI's, performance and exposure of risks across the business, and risk and controls assessment programme.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within a risk function and solid understanding of risk management framework/processes.
  • Ability to challenge business stakeholders and counterparts objectively and effectively.
  • Ability to analyse complex business and risk issues/situations.
  • Good knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
  • Ability to find innovative solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, apply and communicate complex information.
